| Outstanding person in social affairs and outstanding supporter of AIDS work | |
| The Public Health Section of Udonthani had a meeting to select persons and institutions which are outstanding in the HIV/AIDS work to receive awards from Princess Consort Somsawali on the World Day of AIDS, 1 December 2006. Baan Phakjai of Undonthani has received 2 awards, namely: | |
| Mr. Suriyan Sornphromma of the Welcome House - an award for the outstanding person on social affairs. | |
| Ms. Jandai Phakakopng, manageress of the Welcome House - an award for the outstanding person on supporting AIDS work. | |
| The award ceremony was made on the second part of November 2006 and the award presentation at the provincial level was done by the deputy governor of Undonthani. | |
