individual health personnel and Catholic organisations in Thailand
in their commitment to the service of healthcare with a preferential

Roles
The Catholic
Commission for Health Pastoral Care plays the roles and functions
with the following goals. 1..Proclaim the Good News and teachings
of the Church with a holistic approach and an emphasis on teachings
on health, and search for ethical and moral answers on healthcare.2.Promote
and develop health personnel with a spirit of service and build
capacity on operation with good morale and courage in their implementation.3.Support
and co-ordinate with Catholic organisations involved in healthcare
and build network of Catholic organisations and concerned organisations
in both public and private sectors. 4.Act as a co-ordination centre
between Catholic Church in Thailand and universal Church.5.Work
with Catholic organisations in the healthcare of the less-fortunate.

Methodology
1.Co-ordinate
with concerned organisations to foster mutual support on conceptual
understanding, experience and action. 2.Support gender sensitivity
and provide opportunity for the oppressed and the less-fortunate.
3.Set priorities according to the felt needs of grassroots people
as expressed through its member organisations.4.Gear health activities
towards sustainable healthcare.
