Baan
Perpetual Help of Nong Bua Lumphoo Project: This camping
project was meant to train, promote and develop life attitude
on sexual behavior regarding avoidance of HIV/AIDS among students
was organized on 28-30 June 2549 with 57 students from 8 schools
participating. This is an extension project of the Royal Project
of 'Small House in the big Jungle'. It embraces schools in
Amphoe Naklang, Nawang and Phakerng-Phanang in Loei Province.

Through support
of the Catholic Commission for Health Pastoral Care Baan Perpetual
Help organized this training camp with the purpose of:
1. providing knowledge and understanding on AIDS
2. letting the youth aware of the social changes so that they
can live their lives with dignity
3. building networks of student core leaders which will create
harmony among schools in the future. |

At present Brother
Demien Lunders is director of Baan Perpetual Help Center.
Camp activities consist of: 1. Lectures providing knowledge
2. Group relation activities 3. Experience building activities
by sending students to learn from various institutions but students
must make a joint analysis together. A team of 13 staff personnel
and 9 teachers of Baan Perpetual Help Center will make a close
follow-up in giving advice and guidance to those apprenticeship
students. |

From
the evaluation it is found that:
1. Student core leaders have gained experience in working as
a group
2. They have learned to analyze the problem together
3. They are able to share their mutual experiences
4. Good relationship has been established among core leaders
of various schools which will lead to networking in the future.

A team
from Baan Perpetual Help Center and teachers from 8 schools
join hands in laying up the plan to expand the communication
network with all the participating schools. After training this
advisory team will make a regular evaluation and follow-up. |
