| The Catholic Commission for Health Pastoral Care helps the diocese of Ubonratchathani in organizing its 9th 2007 Annual Seminar on HIV/AIDS during 6-8 March 2007 at Baan Suan Ubon, Varinchamrab. | |
| This seminar, for the first time, depicts the theme "Health" as its main topic. The purpose is to allow each organization realize the importance of health, its related problems and their network planning of action. There are 13 organizations participating in this seminar, namely: the Catholic Training Center, Center for the family pastoral care, CCTD, Catholic Foundation for Development (Surin branch), Sisters of Lover of the Cross, Sisters of St. Joseph of the apparition, St. Gabriel Brothers, Franciscans of Mary Immaculate Conception, St. Paul de Chartre, Baan Mary Rak and the Youth Eucharistic Movement. | |
| Every organization realizes the importance of their network and the working together. Rev. Jaturon who is the diocesan health coordinator shows his keen interest for creating a network and wishes to expand this activity to the parochial level in order to maintain the sustainability. He has with him priests, sisters and the laity with the potential of carrying out this plan. | |
| We hope very much that the diocese of Unbonratchathai will be able to round up people of good will and develop their maximum potential for the accomplishment of this worthy task. | |
