already got their "Grateful Children"

The Elderly Group
of St. Joseph's Church have already selected the grateful
children at the parochial level. The result of the selection
ended up with 3 grateful children. |
Mr.Chate
Chaonakaew, coordinator of the subcommittee for the elderly
of the Ratchaburi diocese reports that the St.Joseph Elderly
subcommittee together with the parish council and the parish
priest are ready to make announcement of the grateful children
after some time of selection and the announcement will be made
on 12 August day of the "National Mother Day". |
The first group of
grateful children are Ms.Chomphoo Suwatanaphibul, Ms. Sri-anong
Charasbusarakham and Ms.Monthatip Kiratikavinvong.
The giving of certificate and gift will be done at St. Joseph'
Church by Rev.John Pertile, the parish priest. |

Currently there are
3 centers of the elderly group: one at St. Anthony Church, Kokmodtanoi,
one at the Nativity Cathedral and the other one at St. Joseph
Church. Bishop Panya Kritcharoen is in favor of the elderly
groups in his diocese and appoints Rev. Chavalit Vinitkul
and Rev. Pramote Nilpetch to be in charge of this work. |

Mr. Chate is now working
on the expansion of the elderly groups to other parishes within
the Ratchaburi diocese with the backup of Rev.Phairat Sriprasert,
spiritual director of the movement. |
