St. Joseph's Church at Ban Pong
already got their "Grateful Children"
The Elderly Group of St. Joseph's Church have already selected the grateful children at the parochial level. The result of the selection ended up with 3 grateful children.
Mr.Chate Chaonakaew, coordinator of the subcommittee for the elderly of the Ratchaburi diocese reports that the St.Joseph Elderly subcommittee together with the parish council and the parish priest are ready to make announcement of the grateful children after some time of selection and the announcement will be made on 12 August day of the "National Mother Day".
The first group of grateful children are Ms.Chomphoo Suwatanaphibul, Ms. Sri-anong Charasbusarakham and Ms.Monthatip Kiratikavinvong. The giving of certificate and gift will be done at St. Joseph' Church by Rev.John Pertile, the parish priest.

Currently there are 3 centers of the elderly group: one at St. Anthony Church, Kokmodtanoi, one at the Nativity Cathedral and the other one at St. Joseph Church. Bishop Panya Kritcharoen is in favor of the elderly groups in his diocese and appoints Rev. Chavalit Vinitkul and Rev. Pramote Nilpetch to be in charge of this work.

Mr. Chate is now working on the expansion of the elderly groups to other parishes within the Ratchaburi diocese with the backup of Rev.Phairat Sriprasert, spiritual director of the movement.
