The Church
gives importance to the pastoral care of every type of the patients
 The Camillian Elderly Social Center of Chanthaburi celebrated the week of the International Day of the Sick (11 February 2549) on 9-15 February both at the center and in the communities. Rev. Viroj Nandhajinda, director of the center, is the team leader.
On this occasion the Camillians in cooperation with the community organized activities for the various centers, e.g. the Camillian Elderly Social center of Chanthaburi, the Elderly Center at Nongkhla of Chanthaburi, St. Peter's Church at Tha Chalaeb and the community at Prae Khayang.
 The activities consist of: Sacrament of reconciliation, Anointing the sick, giving knowledge about health care, games, physical checkup, taking blood pressure, visiting the elderly within the parish, visiting patients within the area, providing lunch, giving out presents to the elderly, etc.     
 Activities carried out on 12 February in view of the International Day of the Sick by the Camillian family led by Ms. Thanaporn Phromvej R.N. were through checking health of the faithful before the Mass, after which a priest gave the Sacrament of the Anointment for the sick followed by prayers for the plenary indulgence.
