"Tanalot Temple, Taste King Prawn at Jimbalan, Visit Barong Dance, Kintamani Volcano, Tanjungbernua, Enjoy Water Sports, Bedugal Temple, 2 Hours Free Spa, Shopping at Kuta Beach."
This is the Tourism Ad to visit Bali, Indonesia … quite interesting !

The Prolife committee members in Thailand have the opportunity to participate in the 12th Asian Pacific Congress on Love, Life & Family organized by the Human Life International-Asia and the Prolife Movement of Indonesia on the theme: "The Family towards a Culture of Integral Life" in August 2005. Followings are some thoughts gained from this congress:
1. We have experience that several countries are waking up on the issue of life even in the country where people are of different faiths. This new awareness may be because of the culture of death threatening the culture of life or putting the life in danger. In other words, life is no more good news, rather is becoming an object which you can do anything with it. We as Christians cannot remain with our mouth shut up.
2. There is a lot of discussion on the culture of life taught, guided and admonished by the late Pope John Paul II including teaching from Vatican Council II.
3. We are living in the epoch of fast changes. Some changes have already occurred. Instead of us leading the changes we become the followers of those changes, further still, those changes sent a negative impact on our life, so much so that life becomes an instrument of those changes…i.e.
Changes from the original tradition to modern ideology:
Tradition :
Love, marriage, sexual relation
Later :
Sex, love, marriage
Now :
Sex (with no love and marriage is not necessary)
Tradition : Sexual relation is both "unity between man and
woman and giving birth is the sign and value of
marriage life"
Now :

Sex & condom go together but does not give birth. It is sex without responsibility and loses its value of marriage and relationship between the couples.
Further more, presently the union tends to be of no real
man or woman which comes out in homosexuality and lesbianism or swinging parties.

Technology, in fact, has no problem with morality if it is pro life based on the principle of value and dignity of the human being. While the world, on one hand, talks about the progress in medicine and science, the other side is arguing about the problem of morality, i.e. euthanasia, human cloning, genetic engineering, human productivity development, etc, which does not allow a person to be born naturally as the human dignity deserves.
4. Media and the fast changing society also changes the course of one's life. Everything must be urgent. In fact, the core of the media is to make people know each other and to receive more news or information, but it turns out to be that we receive more news but we know one another less, we have become more and more apart. Today we can communicate without seeing or knowing each other. We can be informed of all the news in the world by just sitting in front of a computer in a tiny room. Man can travel the universe without asking help from outside except technology.
It was also discussed in the meeting that people began to ask more questions about life - asking about the essence of life, or in other words, it is the critical problem on the spiritual side of man: "Who am I?" - "Who is to be my real friend?" - "How a real family should be?" - "What is the value of life and what life means?" - "Is there God? And where is He?" and "What is the real Love?"
5. In this congress a special highlight was given to the word "family" with its original meeting: 'introducing progress and development into the family and the nation'. The discussion ends with the statement: "Future of the humanity depends on the family which is the source of the community of love and life".
Someone says the word "FAMILY" comes from "Father and Mother I Love You". Is it still true now? Since a lot of children have never seen their father and mother. So, how can they say they love their parents? How can they sing the song of "Mother's breast milk"? Because they have neither experienced nor seen their parents, they could never form such imagination. Finally, the meeting aired their opinion that "human cloning" without father and mother is now "quite a possibility".
With presentation on the topic "Truth on Abortion" from a speaker the fact has been exposed on statistics that the number of abortion has been increasingly on the rise. Other than death of the infant in the womb, life of the mother is also in danger of death because of unsafe abortion. This is very conducive to the abortion industry, whereby the aborted children will be used to produce a new medicine for rejuvenation and cure of a certain diseases.
We have seen, met and heard a lot of stories… thus, comes a question: how are we going to do, then, as the "Prolife organization"? Declaration of the 12th Asian Pacific Congress on Love, Life & Family is the answer to what we should be doing.
