Objectives |
1. |
To give
proper knowledge on AIDS to prevent HIV infection to target groups
and the public. |
2. |
To give
counselling to PLHAs, their families and the public. |
3. |
Provide
welfare to PLHAs according to their needs. |

To
visit local communities. |
5. |
To
visit abandoned prisoners who are both HIV positive and negative. |
6. |
To
co-ordinate with state agencies and private organisations in referral
and seeking assistance. |

Activities |

Organise
training to give knowledge on AIDS to target groups for change of
behaviours. |

Visit homes
of PLHAs in local communities. |
3. |
Give counselling
to PLHAs on phone and in person. |
4. |
Provide
basic necessities and supplementary food to PLHAs as needs be. |

Organise
PLHA groups with staff members as their mentors. |
6. |
Provide
knowledge on basic rights to PLHAs. |
7. |
Provide
knowledge on anti-retroviral medicines to PLHAs. |
8. |
Co-ordinate
implementation of activities to promote community therapy with community
as caretakers of PLHAs who are community members. |

Work on
prevention by organising training to give knowledge to target groups
in business enterprises in Muang District to prevent new infections. |
10. |
Visit prisoners
who are abandoned or do not have relatives on the 1st and 3rd Friday
of every month. |
