Objectives |
1. |
To provide
welfare with basic necessities for people living with HIV and AIDS
patients and scholarship for affected children. |
2. |
To do home
visitation to people living with HIV and AIDS patients and their families. |
3. |
To
provide counselling to people living with HIV and AIDS patients and
their families. |
4. |
To
provide accurate information on AIDS to people living with HIV and
AIDS patients and their communities. |
5. |
To
give education to local communities on prevention of new infection. |
6. |
To
develop associations of PLHAs by supporting organisation of PLHAs
to implement different activities. |

co-ordinate with state agencies and private organisations to give
assistance to the target groups. |

Activities |
1.

Implement
children help children project through savings activity as a means
to train children to help other less-fortunate children. At present,
there are 15 groups in 15 sub-districts. |

Provide
living expenses for people living with HIV and AIDS patients according
to their needs. |
3. |
Visit homes
of people living with HIV and AIDS patients. |
4. |
Support
organisation of PLHA groups for mutual care among themselves. |
5. |
Co-ordinate
with various Catholic organisations in Chiangmai Diocese. |
6. |
Co-ordinate
with local communities to implement activities on different traditional
occasions. |
7. |
Co-ordinate
with 100 schools in Phayao Province to take care of affected and infected
children. |
8. |
Co-ordinate
with UNICEF to expand educational opportunity by providing scholarship
to affected children. |
